Hello Quilting Friends,
I am a teacher, designer, author and most importantly, a quilter with over 30 years of experience teaching quilting and related topics to numerous guilds and organizations.
My first quilt publication entitled "Block Explosion" was released by Leisure Arts in the fall of 2004. My second publication entitled: "One Stitch Quilting" the basics, was released by KP Books in the spring of 2006. My personal line of patterns is printed under the label entitled "Threads of Friendship". I am also very excited about teaching classes from my latest book, "Stash with Splash Quilts" released in August 2010.
My national event "QuiltEscape" is a quilters retreat held every year since 1994, and has been reaching thousands of other quilters to keep the circle of friendship growing. Learn more at www.quiltescape.com.
I was National Education Manager for Jo-Ann Fabrics for eight years. During my time there I designed the American Spirit Quilt Kit in June of 2002 for the Patriots Day Project and worked with The American Sewing
Guild and their members to present the finished quilts to Fire Departments nationwide.
Group programs and workshops are what I love to do! Please feel free to contact me for more information.
